Seis horas para contar o caso real da menina Assunta – oriental adotada por um casal de classe média alta na Galícia – eu desapareceu e, logo após foi encontrada morta. Pelas pesquisas da internet, vê-se que o caso foi de enorme repercussão na Espanha anos atrás.
A série conta com o impacto que um caso real com tamanha gravidade tem para prender o espectador de olho na tela. Acho que funciona, pelo menos no início. O que aconteceu com a jovem Assunta é uma poderosa história triste da vida real.
Acho que os produtores se perderam na duração da série. Seis horas de filme foi demais. Isso implica um ritmo muito lento de narrativa, a repetição de cenas e pontos da trama e a relevância de histórias paralelas muito menos interessantes que a central. O pai senil do Juiz, por exemplo, é uma trama paralela muito comum e sem o “poder” do crime foco da história.
De qualquer sorte, a gente fica mais uma vez impressionado sobre as mazelas emocionais dos seres humanos. Adotar é um dos gestos mais nobres que um casal pode ter. Mas matar a criança adotada é certamente dos mais abjetos e cruéis.
O casal Alfonso (Tristan Ulhoa) e Rosário (Candeia Peña) têm sua história contada em detalhes pela série. É realmente uma história impressionante.
Acho que uma edição mais rigorosa que reduzisse o tempo de filme teria sido bem útil.

This implies a very slow pace of narrative, the repetition of scenes and plot points and the relevance of parallel stories that are much less interesting than the central one. The Judge’s senile father, for example, is a very common parallel plot without the “power” of the crime that is the focus of the story.
In any case, we are once again impressed by the emotional ills of human beings. Adopting is one of the noblest gestures a couple can make. But killing an adopted child is certainly one of the most abject and cruel.
