Cheguei ao sexto capítulo da ótima série SUGAR, produção de Fernando Meireles, ora em exibição na Apple TV.
O P.I. John Sugar (magnificamente interpretado por Colin Farrell) segue atrás da desaparecida Olivia, pelo submundo de L.A. e arredores.
A série e seu roteiro asseguram que o espectador fique hipnotizado pela busca sem fim atrás da menina desaparecida.
Pois neste sexto capítulo, todo mundo enlouqueceu.
No final do episódio há um plot twist que eu nunca vi algo parecido.
Na minha memória de cinéfilo, o maior plot twist de todos os tempos segue sendo o final do ótimo O SEXTO SENTIDO, de m. Knight Shyamalan, uma cena inesquecível.
Mas confesso que a cena final deste sexto capítulo de SUGAR me fez cair o queixo.
Faltam dois capítulos. Vamos ver se há justificativa para uma quebra narrativa tão ousada.
Sigo muito impactado pelo que vi.

Because in this sixth chapter, everyone went crazy.
At the end of the episode there is a plot twist that I have never seen like before.
In my memory as a cinephile, the biggest twist of all time remains the ending of the great THE SIXTH SENSE, by M. Knight Shyamalan, an unforgettable scene.
But I confess that the final scene of this sixth chapter of SUGAR made my jaw drop.
Two chapters left.
Let’s see if there is justification for such a bold narrative break.
I remain very impacted by what I saw.
