ATLAS conta a história de Atlas Shepard, uma brilhante analista de dados que segue traumatizada por um androide com inteligência artificial que manipulou seus comandos e fugiu para o espaço.
Quando ele é localizado, Atlas se escala para liderar a expedição que vai caçá-lo.
Falar mal da IA e tecer referências paranóicas sobre suas ameaças está na moda. P filme investe pesado nisso. O vilão Harlan é assustador.
As influências do filme (muito de ALIENS, um pouco de TRON e boa dose de TERMIN ATOR) ficam bem claras.
Claro que lá pelas tantas, Mrs. Lopez prende o cabelo, fica de t-shirt e vai à luta a bordo de seu robô de bom coração.
Tudo é muito ingênuo e previsível.
O problema é que boa parte do filme me senti vendo meus netos jogar videogame. ATLAS não parece um filme mas um video show de efeitos especiais digitais.
Jennifer Lopez pode escolher melhor onde vai trabalhar.

The influences of the film (some of ALIENS, some of TRON and some of TERMIN ATOR) are very clear.
Of course there are so many things, Mrs. Lopez turns on her hair, wears her sweat t-shirt and goes to fight aboard her robot with a big heart.
Everything is very naive and predictable.
The problem is that part of the film I felt like I was seeing my grandsons to play the video game. ATLAS does not seem like a film but a video show with special digital effects.
Jennifer Lopez can choose better where she will work.
