Já escrevi aqui que o grande mistério da nova série da Apple TV+, PRESUMED INNOCENT é saber até onde os produtores tiveram coragem para alterar a trama brilhante do melhor livro do escritor Scott Turow e/ou do ótimo thriller dirigido por Alan J. Pakula, com Harrison Ford como protagonista.
Pois o quinto episódio lançado nesta quarta feira, aumenta esse mistério.
Um excelente cena em que o acusado Rusty Sabich (Jake Gyllenhaal, ótimo em sua estréia em seriados) vasculha o depósito da casa da família, em busca de uma lâmpada. Para quem viu o filme original, lembra muito a cena em que Rusty encontra a arma do crime.
Mas foi somente um “easter egg” que os produtores colocaram aqui.
Minha sensação crescente é que o final será diferente.
De qualquer sorte, PRESUMED INNOCENT é um produto de entretenimento de primeira qualidade.
Para quem espera todos os capítulos estarem disponíveis ou para quem gosta de reviver a espera semanal pelo novo episódio, a série é uma indicação imperdível.

The fifth episode released this Wednesday adds to this mystery.
An excellent scene in which the accused Rusty Sabich (Jake Gyllenhaal, great in his series debut) searches the storage room of the family home, looking for a light bulb. For those who saw the original film, it is very reminiscent of the scene where Rusty finds the murder weapon.
But it was just an “easter egg” that the producers placed here.
My growing feeling is that the ending will be different.
Either way, PRESUMED INNOCENT is a top quality entertainment product.
For those who wait for all the chapters to be available or for those who like to relive the weekly wait for the new episode, the series is an unmissable recommendation.
