Vi mais alguns capítulos da série policial italiana PETRA, uma original da SKY que já comentei aqui mais de uma vez. Tem no NOW e foi exibida no Brasil pelo canal FILMS AND ARTS.
Quem estrela a série é a atriz italiana Paola Cortellesi, hoje na moda pelo extraordinário filme que ela estrelou e dirigiu, AINDA TEMOS O AMANHÃ.
Paola faz Petra, uma jovem policial que trabalha no arquivo da Polícia de Gênova e, certa noite é obrigada a ir investigar um crime de estupro.
Os métodos pouco ortodoxos de Petra (ela tem pouco apego às regras e muita dificuldade social) vão torná-la uma opção certa para investigar crimes bem complicados.
O parceiro de Petra é o quase aposentado Detetive Antonio Monte (Andrea Pennacchi), que faz uma espécie de Danny Glover de MÁQUINA MORTÍFERA. Um belo contraponto.
A dupla se adapta um ao outro e vão prender os criminosos mais estranhos de Gênova e arredores.
Há muita coisa ótima na série.
Desde os personagens, às paisagens belíssimas de Gênova e região, à originalidade dos enredos e às loucuras de Petra.
Vale muito a pena acompanhar as aventuras de Petra. São oito episódios na primeira temporada. E já existe uma segunda temporada.
Vou ver certo.
I watched a few more chapters of the Italian police series PETRA, a SKY original that I’ve already reviewed here more than once. It is on NOW and was shown in Brazil on the FILMS AND ARTS channel.
The star of the series is the Italian actress Paola Cortellesi, currently in fashion for the extraordinary film she starred in and directed, WE STILL HAVE TOMORROW.
Paola plays Petra, a young police officer who works in the Genoa Police archive and, one night, is forced to go and investigate a rape.
Petra’s unorthodox methods (she has little adherence to rules and a lot of social difficulties) will make her a good choice for investigating very complicated crimes.
Petra’s partner is the almost retired Detective Antonio Monte (Andrea Pennacchi), who plays a kind of Danny Glover from LETHAL WEAPON. A great counterpoint.
The duo adapts to each other and goes on to arrest the strangest criminals in Genoa and its surroundings.
There’s a lot of great stuff in the series.
From the characters, to the beautiful landscapes of Genoa and the region, to the originality of the plots and Petra’s madness.
It’s really worth following Petra’s adventures. There are eight episodes in the first season. And there is already a second season.
I’ll see for sure.
