Vi na Apple TV+, a prequel UM LUGAR SILENCIOSO, DIA UM, o início da saga de terror concebida por John Krasinski sobre uma invasão da Terra, por alienígenas assassinos que se guiam por qualquer barulho.
Esse já é o terceiro filme sobre o tema, o que já caracteriza uma franquia.
O melhor seguem sendo as cenas em que uma personagem fica na iminência de ser atacada pelos alienígenas porque desavisadente está próxima de fazer um barulho.
Alíás, a utilização do silêncio quase absoluto no filme é um de seus grandes achados.
Outro mérito inquestionável deste filme é colocar como a protagonista Samira, a jovem e excelente atriz mexicana Lupita Nyong’o. Lupita dá mais um show carregando a trama nas costas.
Tenho evitado filmes de terror. Mas essa trama de Krasinski me fascina por sua originalidade e capacidade de reinvenção.
Trata-se de mais um bom filme.
I watched the prequel A QUIET PLACE, DAY ONE on Apple TV+, the beginning of the horror saga conceived by John Krasinski about an invasion of Earth by murderous aliens who are guided by any noise.
This is the third film on the subject, which is already a franchise.
The best part is still the scenes in which a character is on the verge of being attacked by the aliens because, unaware, she is about to make a noise.
In fact, the use of almost absolute silence in the film is one of its great achievements.
Another unquestionable merit of this film is that it casts the young and excellent Mexican actress Lupita Nyong’o as the protagonist, Samira. Lupita gives another show, carrying the plot on her shoulders.
I have avoided horror films. But this plot by Krasinski fascinates me for its originality and capacity for reinvention.
This is another good film.
