ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING: Temporada 4 Inicia Muito Bem com o Episódio “Era Uma Vez no Oeste”

Entrou em cartaz o primeiro episódio da quarta temporada da série ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING, no Disney+.

O podcast dos engraçadíssimos Steve Martin, Martin Short e Selena Gomes recebe uma proposta de Hollywood para virar filme na Paramount. Lá se vão os três anti heróis para Los Angeles.

Há bastante tempo, o cinema d Nova Iorque adora lançar piadas ácidas sobre as loucuras de Hollywood. O espectador se diverte muito.

Muito bom, por exemplo, o encontro entre os autores do podcast com o trio de atores escolhido para vive-los na tela: Zack Galifianakis (SE BEBER NÃO CASE), Eugene Levy (AMERICAN PIE) e Eva Longoria (DESPERATES HOUSEWIVES). São ótimas piadas do roteiro desde a impossibilidade de alguém pronunciar certo o sobrenome Galifianakis, até deboche puro sobre a diferença de idade entre personagem e atriz para Selena Gomes e Eva Longoria.

Meryl Streep também ressurge luminosa o que é um baita trunfo da série.

Mas o destaque para mim, ficou com as cenas paralelas com a abertura do filme ERA UMA VEZ NO OESTE, de Sergio Leone. Além de ser um sensível homenagem àquele clássico, a montagem de cenas ficou absolutamente hilária.

Essa quarta temporada da série promete muito.

For a long time, New York cinema has loved to make acid jokes about the madness of Hollywood. The viewer has a lot of fun.

For example, the meeting between the podcast’s authors and the trio of actors chosen to play them on screen was very good: Zack Galifianakis (THE HANGOVER), Eugene Levy (AMERICAN PIE) and Eva Longoria (DESPERATES HOUSEWIVES). There are great jokes in the script, from the impossibility of someone pronouncing Galifianakis’ last name correctly, to pure mockery about the age difference between the character and actress for Selena Gomes and Eva Longoria.

Meryl Streep also makes a brilliant comeback, which is a huge asset for the series.

But the highlight for me was the parallel scenes with the opening of Sergio Leone’s film ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE WEST. In addition to being a sensitive homage to that classic, the editing of the scenes was absolutely hilarious.

This fourth season of the series promises a lot.
