Eu já tinha visto os quatro títulos que enfocavam histórias dos policiais membros do Departamento Q, uma área da Polícia Dinamarquesa. Acho bastante interessantes.
Deparei meio que por acaso com um novo filme sobre este mesmo assunto. BOUNDLESS, dirigido por Ole Christian Madsen.
A trama narra a história de um estupro ocorrido em uma ilha da Dinamarca que passa a ser investigado pela novata Rose (Sofie Torp) do Departamento Q. O caso se revela mais complexo com as investigações chegando a um culto religioso local, o que faz com que o chefe Carl Morck (Ulrich Thomsen) se incorpore à equipe.
A característica dos filmes do Departamento Q são tramas meio religiosas, cheios de assassinos malucos que cometem crimes sanguinários com fins supostamente místicos. BOUNDLESS não foge à regra.
A Detetive Rose se deixa envolver até o fim com os possíveis suspeitos, o que dá ainda mais suspense à história.
Essas tramas se integram perfeitamente ao chamado NORDIC NOIR, uma corrente de filmes e livros policiais que exploram o pior da raça humana sob a forma de criminosos e crimes.
Certamente BOUNDLESS não é o melhor título do DEPARTAMENTO Q, mas para quem aprecia o gênero e os filmes da série, não vai decepcionar.
I had already seen the four titles that focused on the stories of the police officers who are members of Department Q, a branch of the Danish Police. I found them quite interesting.
I came across a new film about this same subject by chance: BOUNDLESS, directed by Ole Christian Madsen.
The plot tells the story of a rape that occurred on an island in Denmark and is investigated by the newbie Rose (Sofie Torp) of Department Q. The case becomes more complex when the investigation leads to a local religious cult, which leads Chief Carl Morck (Ulrich Thomsen) to join the team.
The characteristic of the Department Q films are semi-religious plots, full of crazy killers who commit bloody crimes with supposedly mystical purposes. BOUNDLESS is no exception.
Detective Rose gets involved with the possible suspects until the end, which adds even more suspense to the story.
These plots fit perfectly into the so-called NORDIC NOIR, a series of crime films and books that explore the worst of the human race in the form of criminals and crimes.
BOUNDLESS is certainly not the best title in the Q DEPARTMENT, but for those who enjoy the genre and the films in the series, it will not disappoint.
