AMORES SOLITÁRIOS: Laura Dern Sustenta Filme Romântico Outonal

A NETFLIX está exibindo o filme AMORES SOLITÁRIOS, dirigido pela cineasta Susanah Grant (escritora de dois filmes de sucesso, ERIN BROKOVICH e UNBELIEVABLE).

Laura Dern, a excelente atriz filha de Bruce Dern exibe todo seu talento vivendo a escritora Katherine Loewe, premiada autora que aceita o convite para um “retiro de escritores” em um isolado hotel no Marrocos. Entre os objetivos deia não esta’a convivência com os demais escritores presentes ao encontro, mas se isolar para dar andamento em sue próximo livro e superar o traumático rompimento de uma relação amorosa com um escultor com o qual vive há 14 anos.

Lá ela vai encontrar o jovem Owen Brophy (Liam Hemsworth), um executivo do mercado financeiro que namora a jovem escritora Lily Kemp (Diana Silvers) e foi para lá acompanhá-la. Brophy, fica claro desde o início tem muito pouco a fazer lá, porque não somente lê quase nada de literatura, como despreza o círculo cultural do encontro.

Entre os dois vai nascer um encantamento que une a solidão que os dois sentem naquele momento específico.

Acho que o roteiro deu um tratamento sensível à história , mesmo que haja momentos inverossímeis como a crise de consciência de Brophy sobre o negócio milionário que está por fechar.

Quem segura o filme é Laura Dern. No auge de seus 57 anos, a atriz que já fez 102 trabalhos nas telas, está radiante. Madura, bonita , expressiva, ainda guarda os traços da jovem que encantou em filmes de David Lynch, décadas atrás, combinado com o charme dos trabalhos em séries de TV, como BIG LITTLE LIES.

Laura Dern, the excellent actress and daughter of Bruce Dern, shows off all her talent playing the writer Katherine Loewe, an award-winning author who accepts an invitation to a “writers’ retreat” in a secluded hotel in Morocco. Her goals are not to socialize with the other writers present at the meeting, but to isolate herself to work on her next book and overcome the traumatic breakup of a romantic relationship with a sculptor with whom she has lived for 14 years.

There she will meet the young Owen Brophy (Liam Hemsworth), a financial market executive who is dating the young writer Lily Kemp (Diana Silvers) and has gone there to accompany her.
