O filme que parece ser a maior ameaça a isso é o argentino KILL THE JOCKEY (EL JOCKEY), dirigido pelo cineasta Luis Ortega, um thriller sobre um casal de talentosos jóqueis envolvidos com um perigoso homem de negócios.
Depois de 15 títulos de boa repercussão internacional, Ortega faz seu filme mais ambicioso e já vem credenciado por um prêmio de melhor filme no prestigiado Festival de San Sebastián e uma indicação ao Leão de Ouro em Veneza.
Adriana Aguirre, Nahuel Pérez Biscayart, a atriz espanhola Ursula Corberó (a Tokyo de CASA DE PAPEL), Roberto Carnaghi, Daniel Gimenez Cacho e Mariana di Girólamo fazem um elenco instigante.
Há um filme clássico argentino, que tinha como protagonista um jóquei. Trata-se do maravilhoso UN INFIERNO TAN TEMIDO, de Raul de la Torre que marcou época na década de 70, por sua densidade e pela trilha sonora de Astor Piazolla.
Quero muito ver este EL JOCQUEY.

There is a classic Argentine film starring a jockey. It is the wonderful UN INFIERNO TAN TEMIDO, by Raul de la Torre, which marked an era in the 70s, due to its density and the soundtrack by Astor Piazolla.
