A trama se inicia de modo instigante: um médico inglês é preso no aeroporto de Londres, ao chegar da China, acusado de estar envolvido na morte de uma mulher na noite anterior, em Pequim. Clamando inocência, ele se insurge contra a acusação.
Uma agente do MI6 – de ascendência chinesa – é designada para acompanhar-lo de volta à China. Com eles vão estar no vôo para China outros quatro médicos que voltavam do mesmo congresso.
Enquanto a investigação sobre a morte da garota se desenvolve na China e em Londres, Fatos estranhos começam a ocorrer no vôo, como o infarto fatal em um jovem inglês, vegano como o acusado.
O roteiro consegue desenvolver a história mesclando elementos de modernidade (a comunicação via Wifi no vôo por exemplo) com algumas coisas tradicionais, como o velho e batido “quem matou?”
No fando, a intriga política assume papel relevante e vai ditar os rumos da história.
O ator Richard Armitage vive o protagonista acusado de morte. A atriz chinesa Jing Lusi faz a policial. Lesley Sharp, Jemma Moore e Dan Li estão no elenco.

The plot begins in an intriguing way: an English doctor is arrested at London airport, upon arriving from China, accused of being involved in the death of a woman the night before, in Beijing. Claiming innocence, he rebels against the accusation.
An MI6 agent – of Chinese descent – is assigned to accompany him back to China. Four other doctors who were returning from the same congress will be on the flight to China with them.
While the investigation into the girl’s death develops in China and London, strange events begin to occur on the flight, such as the fatal heart attack in a young Englishman, vegan like the accused.
The script manages to develop the story by mixing modern elements (communication via Wifi on the flight, for example) with some traditional things, like the old and tired “who killed?”
In fando, political intrigue plays an important role and will dictate the direction of history.
Actor Richard Armitage plays the protagonist accused of death. Chinese actress Jing Lusi plays the police officer. Lesley Sharp, Jemma Moore and Dan Li are in the cast.
