BASTILLE DAY ou ATENTADO EM PARIS ou THE TAKE (2016), do diretor britânico James Watkins (A MULHER DE PRETO e a série de TV BLACK MIRROR) traz o astro inglês Idris Elba no que foi denominado o seu vestibular para James Bond.
Ele vive um agente da CIA em Paris e que recebe a missão de encontrar um batedor de carteiras americano que acidentalmente rouba uma bolsa que tinha uma bomba feita por um grupo terrorista e provoca a morte de 4 pessoas.
Um thriller violento e com muita correria a pé e de carro pelas ruas de Paris, ao melhor estilo Luc Besson, traz algumas reflexões sobre a intolerância da comunidade europeia com imigrantes, o difícil relacionamento entre os serviços de inteligência e a árdua convivência entre o estilo policial mais empírico e a burocracia engravatada.
No elenco, alem de Elba, destaque para as belas Kelly Reilly (O VOO e os dois Sherlock Holmes, com Robert Downey Jr.) e Charlotte le Bon, a canadense do maravilhoso A 100 PASSOS DE UM SONHO.
A versatilidade impar de Idris Elba também se apresenta na belíssima canção tema THE ROAD LESS TRAVELLED, escrita e interpretada por ele e por Fatboy Slim nos créditos iniciais e finais do filme.
Em resumo, um thriller bom de se assistir.

Adorei o filme, é muito interessante. O personagem de Idris Elba parecia excelente para mim, ele é um ótimo ator. Ele sempre surpreende com os seus papeis, pois se mete de cabeça nas suas atuações e contagia profundamente a todos com as suas emoções. O papel que realizo em A Torre Negra o filme é uma das suas melhores atuações. Além, acho que a sua participação neste filme de fantasia realmente ajudou ao desenvolvimento da história. Cada um dos projetos deste actor supera a minha expectativa. Eu sem dúvida verei novamente.
