DCI Banks: Série Inglesa Traz Histórias Policiais Ricas e Complexas

DCI Banks, disponível na Amazon Prime tem cinco temporadas que foram exibidas na TV Britânica entre os anos de 2010 e 2016. Cada episódio traz uma história, normalmente dividida em dois capítulos de cinquenta minutos.

Os roteiros são baseados nas novelas de Peter Robinson sobre um solitário Chefe de Detetives do Condado de Yorkshire obstinado por resolver os crimes que chegam até seu conhecimento.

DCI Banks é vivido pelo ator Stephen Tompkinson (das séries TROLLIED e THE SPLIT), dando realmente um grau de credibilidade ao persongem muito bom. Sua assistente principal variou durante as temporadas. Iniciou com Andrea Lowe, como a DS Annie Cabott (DR WHO e que ficou de fora uma temporada pela gravidez) e depois a atriz Caroline Catz (MURDER IN SUBURBIA), como a DI Helen Morton.

A decisão de filmar cada história em dois episódios deu a oportunidade de trabalhar mais cada personagem, crime ou datalhamento do enredo. As histórias trazem crimes violentos, mas bem diferenciados das séries policiais usuais.

O fato de ser filmada no interior da Inglaterra (Condado de Yorkshire) proporcionou ainda uma ambientação excelente, com muitas paisagens de tirar o fôlego.

DCI BANKS se assiste com prazer e interesse por todos estes cuidados de produção. É uma série policial acima da média.

 

DCI Banks available at Amazon Prime had five seasons that have been shown on British TV between the years 2010 and 2016. Each episode features a story, usually divided into two fifty-minute chapters.

The screenplays are based on Peter Robinson’s novels about a lonely Yorkshire County Chief Detective who is determined to solve the crimes that come to his knowledge.

DCI Banks is lived by actor Stephen Tompkinson (of the series TROLLIED and THE SPLIT), giving a degree of credibility really good. His main assistant varied during the seasons. It began with Andrea Lowe, as DS Annie Cabott (DR WHO and who was left out a season for pregnancy) and then actress Caroline Catz (MURDER IN SUBURBIA) as DI Helen Morton.

The decision to shoot each story in two episodes gave the opportunity to work more each character, crime or plot. The stories bring violent crimes, but well differentiated from the usual police series.

The fact that it was filmed in the hinterland of England (Yorkshire County) also provided an excellent setting with many breathtaking landscapes.

DCI BANKS is viewed with pleasure and interest because of all these production care. It’s an above average police series.
