SUITS é certamente uma das melhores séries que a televisão produziu nestes últimos anos. As histórias de Harvey, Mike, Jessica, Rachel, Donna e Louis no escritório de advocacia top de Nova Iorque rendeu sete temporadas maravilhosas e de altíssimo nível.
Com as saídas de Mike e Rachel (motivadas pelo casamento de Megan Markle com o Príncipe Harry) e Jessica (que vai ganhar uma série própria), SUITS teve que se reinventar nesta oitava temporada.
Teve o acréscimo significativo de Katherine Heigl, como Samantha Wheeler, a protegée do novo manda chuva Robert Zane (o ótimo Wendell Pierce) que entrou de cabeça para criar conflitos e achar soluções ainda menos ortodoxas para os problemas do dia a dia da firma, agora chamada Zane, Spector & Litt.
Harvey e Donna seguem sendo os protagonistas, mas são muito ajudados por um elenco de coadjuvantes sempre ótimos, a cada episódio.
Esplendidamente filmada em Nova Iorque, aproveitando suas paisagens extraordinárias e restaurantes fora de série, SUITS ainda luta para encontrar seu novo rumo. Já foi renovada para uma nona temporada.
Espero que ela volte ao nível de excelência de seu início. Mesmo com a falta que os três personagens que deixaram a série inevitavelmente fazem.

With the exits of Mike and Rachel (motivated by the wedding of Megan Markle with Prince Harry) and Jessica (who will win a series of her own), SUITS had to reinvent itself in this eighth season.
There was the significant addition of Katherine Heigl, as Samantha Wheeler, the protégé of the new rainmaker Robert Zane (the great Wendell Pierce) who went head-on to create conflicts and find even less orthodox solutions to the day-to-day problems of firm, now called Zane, Spector & Litt.
Harvey and Donna continue to be the protagonists, but are greatly helped by a cast of always great supporting characters, each episode.
Splendidly filmed in New York, taking advantage of its extraordinary scenery and outstanding restaurants, SUITS is still struggling to find its new course. It has been already renewed for a ninth season.
I hope it returns to the level of excellence from its beggining. Even with the lack that the three characters that left the series inevitably do.
