Ontem vi na Amazon Prime Video, o divertidíssimo COM QUEM SERÁ? (DESTINATION WEDDING), uma comédia amarga estrelada por Keanu Reeves e Wynona Ryder, O filme foi escrito e dirigido pelo cineasta novaiorquino Vitor Levin (conhecido pelos também muito engraçados 5 TO 7 e MY SASSY GIRL).
Dois estranhos se encontram no aeroporto, onde vão embarcar em um pequeno avião com destino à cidade de San Luis Obispo, na California, onde o meio irmão dele e ex-noiva dela (Ted Dubost) vai se casar com a bela loira dinamarquesa D J Dallembach.
O roteiro é magistral em trazer verdadeiras pérolas sobre amor, casamento, ex-maridos e ex-esposas, destination weddings, ressaca, toque e outros males da medernidade.
Keanu Reeves e Wynona Ryder não são atores cômicos, embora já tenham arriscado alguns passos na área do humor em alguns de seus filmes. Pois aqui, eles se revelam. A inicial hostilidade entre os dois personagens que, aos poucos, vai se revelando uma atração irresistível, proporciona diálogos impagáveis.
Lindsay : Você não acredita que haja alguém para todo mundo? Frank : Perto. Eu acredito que não há ninguém para ninguém.
Lindsay : por que não nos encontramos há sete anos ? Frank : Sorte, eu acho.
Lindsay : Howard deixou sua mãe? Frank : ‘Deixou’ não é uma palavra suficientemente forte. Fugiu. Lindsay : Para uma mulher mais velha? Frank : Ele teria ido para uma lontra. De qualquer forma, sair é sair. Lindsay : Não, não. Partir para uma mulher mais jovem é horrível, é horrível. Mas partir para uma mulher mais velha é perverso.
COM QUEM SERÁ? é um exemplo de pequeno filme, muito baseado em um roteiro criativo e inteligente e valorizado por dois bons atores. Deu química.

The initial hostility between the two characters, which is gradually becoming an irresistible attraction, provides priceless dialogues.
