A série, com 12 capítulos (9 estão disponíveis), mostra o trabalho de uma policial especializada em negociar com bandidos em situações em que haja reféns. A jovem e linda Eugenia Velasco, vivida pela atriz uruguaia Bárbara Mori foi treinada e é reconhecida como o melhor recurso da polícia da Cidade do México, sitiada por uma quadrilha que colocou várias bombas para enfrentar com técnica e frieza a situações em que a vida de inocentes está em jogo.
Bárbara é reconhecida e premiada atriz latina com trabalhos em CARLOS GARDEL THE KING OF TANGO, DOS LUNAS e MY BROTHER’S WIFE. Volta à televisão, para viver a protagonista da série dirigida por Juancho Cardona e produzida por seu irmão Manolo Cardona para a 11:11.
O enredo traz muitos elementos interessantes, como intrigas políticas do alto escalão da Polícia e do Governo com raízes na ação da quadrilha, uma pessoa importante do passado da policial que tem papel essencial no crime sob investigação e a discussão sobre o papel essencial de uma mulher num meio pedominantemente masculino.
Aldo Gallardo, Marcela Guirado, Mariana Gajá, Ximena Ayala, Carlos Aragón e Cassandra Iturralde compõem o elenco.
A riqueza da produção resulta em uma narrativa muito bem feita, onde as cenas de suspense são múltiplas, bem filmadas e extremamente bem produzidas, realmente no nível das melhores produções americanas do gênero.
Dos capítulos que já vi, acho que a extensão da série em 12 capítulos foi exagerada. Como inevitavelmente ocorre nesses casos, há flashbacks demais, repetição exagerada de cenas, diálogos longos e demora na solução das situações criadas pelo roteiro.
Talvez seja o grande ponto negativo de LA NEGOCIADORA, um produção de luxo do mercado latino americano.

The series, with 12 chapters (9 are available), shows the work of a police officer specialized in negotiating with bandits in situations where hostages are present. The young and beautiful Eugenia Velasco, played by Uruguayan actress Bárbara Mori, was trained and is recognized as the best resource of the Mexico City police, besieged by a gang that placed several bombs to deal with situations technically and coldly in situations in which innocents is at stake.

The chapters I have seen, I think the extension of the series to 12 chapters has been exaggerated. As inevitably occurs in these cases, there are too many flashbacks, exaggerated repetition of scenes, long dialogues and delay in solving the situations created by the script.
Perhaps it is the great negative point of LA NEGOCIADORA, a luxury production of the Latin American market.
