Eu sigo achando as séries do Canal CW com um ar meio adolescente demais, privilegiando visuais em detrimento da profundidade de personagens e tramas. Fui meio desconfiado ver SUPERMAN & LOIS, nova série da CW. Foi uma pequena surpesa.
Ainda mantém a estética meio teen, mas a ideia de colocar o Homem de Aço casado com Lois Lane e preocupados com boletos, contas, hipoteca, dificuldades escolares dos filhos e outros temas bem terráqueos foi muito inteligente. Uma bela sacada.
O primeiro episódio localiza a trama. Clark é demitido do Planeta Diário (adquirido por um conglomerado multinacional que está se lixando para pessoas e notícias) e o casal precisa se adaptar à nova realidade. Seus dois filhos adolescentes estão com os hormônios a milhão e demandas a granel.
Tyler Hoechlin (PALM SPRINGS) e Elizabeth Tullock (GRIMM) são Superman e Loisa. Os jovens Alex Garfin e Jordan Elsass fazem os filhos.
Não sei onde a série vai chegar e se esta trama original de um Superman mais terreno vai prosperar. Mas inegavelmente o piloto teve originalidade e criatividade suficientes para ser visto com atenção até o final.
I continue to find the CW series with a somewhat adolescent air, privileging visuals over the depth of characters and plots. I was a little suspicious to see SUPERMAN & LOIS, new CW series. It was a little good surprise.
It still retains the teen-like aesthetic, but the idea of getting the Man of Steel married to Lois Lane and concerned with bills, bills, mortgages, school difficulties for children and other very earthly subjects was very clever. A beautiful balcony.

I don’t know where the series will go and if this original plot of a more earthly Superman will thrive. But the pilot undeniably had enough originality and creativity to be watched carefully until the end.
