O diretor francês Plilippe LeGuay (AS MULHERES DO SEXTO ANDAR) dirigiu a comédia dramática NORMANDIA NUA, em exibição na Amazon Prime Video.
O excelente ator François Cluzet (UNTOUCHABLES) vive o prefeito de uma pequena cidade francesa que vive de sua agro pecuária. Pela importação de carnes de outros países, o preço da carne da cidade de Mêle-sur-Sarthe, na Normandia cai brutalmente ameaçando falir os comerciantes locais, base da economia da cidade.
Depois de vários protestos sem qualquer repercussão, ele se deixa seduzir pela proposta de uma famoso fotógrafo americano (Toby Jones, sempre ótimo) que anda pelo mundo fotografando grupos de pessoas inteiramente nuas.
O convencimento da população local para posar em um nu total se torna um desafio quase invencível para o Prefeito, certo que aquele seria um protesto de repercussão nacional e internacional.
O roteiro do filme tem momentos de humor delicioso, que o diretor com muito talento mescla à dramaticidade da iminente quebra financeira da cidade.
NORMANDIA NUA é um ótimo filme francês.

The excellent actor François Cluzet (UNTOUCHABLES) plays the mayor of a small French town that lives off his livestock farming. By the importing meat from other countries, the price of meat in the city of Mêle-sur-Sarthe in Normandy drops brutally, threatening to bankrupt local traders, the basis of the city’s economy.
After several protests without any repercussions, he lets himself be seduced by the proposal of a famous American photographer (Toby Jones, always great) who goes around the world photographing groups of people entirely naked.
Convincing the local population to pose in a total nude becomes an almost invincible challenge for the Mayor, given that it would be a protest with national and international repercussions.
The film’s script has moments of delicious humor, which the talented director mixes with the drama of the city’s impending financial collapse.
NAKED NORMANDIE is a great French film.
