TENDER BAR, de George Clooney – em cartaz na Amazon Prime Video – é um ótimo filme. Terno, sensível, emotivo, consegue atingir seu objetivo de emocionar o espectador sem dificuldades.
Há dois importantes atores e diretores envolvidos no Projeto. George Clooney sabe onde amarra seu cavalo. Sua carreira, tanto de ator, como atrás das câmeras (produtor e diretor), sempre foi sólida e cheia de títulos muito interessantes. Ben Affleck já deu uns escorregões na vida. GIGLI e LIGA DA JUSTIÇA são bem ruins, por exemplo. Mas ele também tem feito filmes muito bons, como ARGO.
Os dois contam a história do roteirista e produtor J.R. Moehringer um escritor e jornalista que fez carreira nos EUA.
Tye Sheridan, um dos atores da moda estrela o filme. É um bom ator, ainda longe de vôos mais altos.
O filme optou por adotar um tom nostálgico e afetuoso com as memórias do escritor. Tudo é visto por uma lente carinhosa e cheia de afeto.
O ótimo Christopher Lloyd (o Doc. de BACK TO THE FUTURE), a atriz Lily Rabe e a jovem Brianna Midelton pontificam no elenco.
Eu gostei bastante. Acho que o filme passa por temas bem relevantes, sempre de forma inteligente e bem humorada.
Foi mais um ponto positivo nas carreiras de Clooney e Affleck.

There are two important actors and directors involved in the Project. George Clooney knows where to tie his horse. His career, both as an actor and behind the camera (producer and director), has always been solid and full of very interesting titles. Ben Affleck has already taken some slips in his life. GIGLI and JUSTICE LEAGUE are pretty bad, for example. But he’s also been making really good movies like ARGO.
The two tell the story of screenwriter and producer J.R. Moehringer, a writer and journalist who made a career in the US.
