A plataforma FILME FILME tem alguns filmes europeus bem raros para o espectador mais atento.
Ontem encontrei o filme IL FUTURO, uma co-produção da Itália-Alemanha-Chile e Inglaterra, contando a história de uma menina órfã que vive com seu irmão em Roma, sustentada por uma pensão. A vida dela muda quando dois amigos do irmão resolvem propor um roubo a um velho ator cego e aposentado que vive recluso em um casarão.
O homem fora Mister Universo e atuara em muitos filmes de heróis épicos, o que lha valeu o apelido de Maciste.
O filme traz um dos últimos trabalhos do ator holandês Rutger Hauer, falecido aos 75 anos, em 2020. Hauer – cujo maior trabalho foi o do andróide Roy, em BLADE RUNNER – sempre foi um ótimo ator. Em IL FUTURO, ele novamente atua de forma maravilhosa, contando as histórias de Maciste, em um tom melancólico e evocativo dos áureos tempos da Cinecittá (o legendário estúdio italiano visto em uma cena do films).
A jovem atriz chilena Manuela Martelli faz uma Bianca introspectiva mas desinibida na hora de se desnudar próximo ao cego alvo de sua atenção. Estará ela se envolvendo emocionalmente com o veterano ator ou tudo faz parte do golpe planejado.
O filme é dirigido pela cineasta chilena Alicia Scherson, autora de TURISTAS e FAMILY LIFE. Seu novo trabalho se baseia em um livro do também chileno Roberto Bolaño.
Gostei de IL FUTURO. A gente sai um pouco triste desta história, mas o amadurecimento da jovem Bianca é visto pela câmera de Scherson com sensibilidade e carinho.
Tudo isto vale o filme.

Yesterday I found the film IL FUTURO, a co-production of Italy-Germany-Chile and England, telling the story of an orphan girl who lives with her brother in Rome, supported by a pension. Her life changes when two of her brother’s friends decide to propose a robbery to an old, blind and retired actor who lives in seclusion in a large house.
The man had been Mister Universe and had acted in many epic hero films, earning him the nickname Maciste.
The film features one of the last works of Dutch actor Rutger Hauer, who died at the age of 75, in 2020. Hauer – whose biggest work was that of the android Roy, in BLADE RUNNER – has always been a great actor. In IL FUTURO, he again performs wonderfully, telling Maciste’s stories, in a melancholic and evocative tone of the heyday of Cinecittá (the legendary Italian studio seen in a scene of the films).
The young Chilean actress Manuela Martelli plays an introspective but uninhibited Bianca when she undresses next to her blind target of attention. Is she getting emotionally involved with the veteran actor or is it all part of the planned coup.
The film is directed by Chilean filmmaker Alicia Scherson, author of TOURISTS and FAMILY LIFE. Her new work is based on a book by fellow Chilean Roberto Bolaño.
I enjoyed IL FUTURO. We leave this story a little sad, but the maturity of the young Bianca is seen by Scherson’s camera with sensitivity and affection.
All this is worth the movie.
