No final dos anos 60 e início dos 70, uma atriz austríaca conseguiu aparecer bastante em filmes europeus de certa repercussão, embora nunca tenha sido uma protagonista: Marissa Mell.
Embora em alguns filmes tenha aparecido loira, foi como uma morena de olhos verdes que ela ficou em minha memória.
O mais famosos destes filmes foi UMA SOBRE A OUTRA, onde Marisa vivia duas irmãs gêmeas (uma morena casada com um médico e outra loira, stripper). Jean Sorel e Elsa Martinelli estavam no elenco.
Numa época em que poucas atrizes arriscavam a nudez, Marissa Mell não tinha problemas em aparecer nua nos filmes e até em uma famosa edição da PLAYBOY italiana.
Uma curiosidade da biografia de Marisa Mell é que o lendário Vincent Minelli a convidou para estrelar uma peça na Broadway sobre MATA HARI. Apesar dos noticiários da época, a produção nunca foi apresentada.
Marisa morreu aos 53 anos, pobre e sozinha em Viena.
Seus olhos verdes seguem vivos nas telas.

Although in some movies she appeared blonde, it was as a green-eyed brunette that she stuck in my memory.
