Ao olhar o assunto e o elenco, fui ver de imediato. Gary Oldman, Armie Hammer, Evangeline Lilly, Greg Kinnear, Michelle Rodriguez, Lily Rose Depp, Indira Varma e Luke Evans fazem um time de alto nível.
Há múltiplas histórias em CRISIS. Uma indústria de opiáceos está para aprovar e lançar o primeiro analségico não viciante do mercado, o que seria revolucionário. Mas os testes de laboratório não mostram bem isto.
Um agente federal se infiltra numa rede de contrabando de drogas do Canadá para os EUA, ligada à Máfia Armeniana. Uma mãe, ex-viciada quer descobrir quem foi o responsável pela overdose que matou seu filho. E, finalmente, um professor universitário tem um conflito entre o que o Laboratório que mantém seu trabalho de pesquisa quer que ele diga e o que suas pesquisas apontam.
Como se vê, temas bem modernos e atuais.
O filme é bem produzido, roteirizado, editado e interpretado.
Vale a pena ver. Parece assustadoramente real.

As I looked at the subject and the cast, I went straight to see it. Gary Oldman, Armie Hammer, Evangeline Lilly, Greg Kinnear, Michelle Rodriguez, Lily Rose Depp, Indira Varma and Luke Evans make a top-notch team.
There are multiple stories in CRISIS. An opiate industry is about to approve and launch the first non-addictive pain reliever on the market, which would be revolutionary. But lab tests don’t show this well.
A federal agent infiltrates a Canadian-to-US drug smuggling ring linked to the Armenian Mafia. A mother, ex-addict wants to find out who was responsible for the overdose that killed her son. And finally, a university professor has a conflict between what the Laboratory holding his research paper wants him to say and what his research points to.
As you can see, very modern and current themes.
The film is well produced, scripted, edited and performed.
Worth seeing. It feels eerily real.
