Chuck Norris, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone, Steven Seagal, Dolph Lundgren, Liam Neeson, Vin Diesel, a lista de astros de mais ou menos prestígio que fizeram filmes de ação, onde a única regra era um ritmo frenético de mortes e tiroteios, é imensa e interminável.
O empoderamento feminino parece indicar que este terreno exclusivo dos “machões” agora também vai ser invadido por mulheres.
A NETFLIX lançou com certa repercussão o drama de ação INTERCEPTOR, estrelado pela atriz espanhola Elsa Pataky.
Esta madrilenha de 46 anos tinha aparecido em três filmes da franquia VELOZES E FURIOSOS, fazendo o papel da agitada Elena.
INTERCEPTOR parece indicar que vai seguir a carreira como atriz de filmes de ação.
Aqui ela é a Capitã J.J.Collins, uma militar que ousou denunciar o brutal assédio sexual que seu chefe, um General de Alta Patente do Pentágono lhe impunha e caiu em desgraça na carreira e na vida.
O ostracismo a envia para um posto “maldito”. Uma plataforma de defesa de mísseis que sejam lançados contra os Estados Unidos, perdida no meio do mar.
Logo no dia em que ela assume o posto, um grupo de terroristas invade a plataforma disfarçado de zeladores e pretende tomar o controle enfraquecendo a defesa dos EUA contra mísseis que seriam lançados por terroristas russos.
A fórmula é a já vista tantas vezes. Os terroristas são tão organizados e cheios de recursos tecnológicos (transmitem para o Times Square em nova Iorque em um piscar de olhos) e com mercenários enormes e musculosos (inclusive com a inevitável mercenária mulher), quanto têm péssima pontaria (atiram milhares de vezes contra a mocinha e, como sempre, somente acertam o braço dela).
O vilão central – também como é usual – tem um discurso ideológico sobre como foi relegado a segundo plano pelos EUA injustamente – mas no fundo quer apenas a grana milionária resultante do atentado, não se importando em matar milhões de pessoas.
Mas eles não contavam com a Capitã J.J.
Ela vai lutar até o fim, matar todos os terroristas (alguns com requintes de crueldade) e salvar o mundo livre.
Como o filme tem apenas 99 minutos, vi com interesse razoável.
INTERCEPTOR é certamente um filme muito fraco. Mas dá para ver. Nada mais que isto.

The terrorists are as organized and full of technological resources (they transmit to Times Square in New York in the blink of an eye) and with huge and muscular mercenaries (including the inevitable ninja and the female mercenary), as they have terrible aim (they shoot thousands of times at the Captain JJ and, as always, they only hit her arm).
The central villain – also as usual – has an ideological speech about how he was unfairly relegated to the background by the US – but deep down he just wants the millionaire money resulting from the attack, not caring about killing millions of people.
But they didn’t count on Captain J.J.
She will fight to the end, kill all the terrorists (some of them with cruelty touches) and save the free world.
As the film is only 99 minutes long, I watched it with reasonable interest.
INTERCEPTOR is certainly a very weak film. But you can see. Nothing more than this.
