A Amazon Prime Video está mostrando o filme OS FUGITIVOS (LONELY HEARTS), dirigido pelo cineasta Todd Robinson. Trata-se de um policial dark, narrando a história real da caçada dos criminosos Martha Beck (Salma Hayek) e Raymond Martinez (Jared Leto) que mataram pelo menos uma dúzia de pessoas.
Os policiais encarregados da investigação são Elmer Robinson (John Travolta) e Charles Hildebrandt (James Gandolfini). O elenco ainda tem a ótima Laura Dern e Scott Caan.
A história é dolorosa. Os criminosos matam a esmo, sem qualquer contemplação.
A categoria dos atores e atrizes integrantes do elenco segura o filme num ótimo nível. Gosto muito de Leto, Travolta e Gandolfini. Os três são de alta categoria. Mas a atriz Salma Hayek dá um show como a malévola Martha Beck. O espectador não desvia o olhar um segundo da tela.
O filme clássico deste gênero é, acima de qualquer dúvida é UMA RAJADA DE BALAS (BONNIE & CLYDE), de Arthur Penn, com Warren Beatty e Faye Dunaway. Comparar estes dois filmes é impossível. Embora LONELY HEARTS seja um filme muito bem feito, BONNIE & CLYDE tem aquele toque genial que faz de um filme um cult movie eterno.
De qualquer sorte, vale a pena ver LONELY HEARTS. É um thriller muito bem feito.

The officers in charge of the investigation are Elmer Robinson (John Travolta) and Charles Hildebrandt (James Gandolfini). The cast still has the great Laura Dern and Scott Caan.
History is painful. Criminals kill at random, without any contemplation.
The category of actors and actresses in the cast holds the film at a great level. I really like Leto, Travolta and Gandolfini. All three are top notch. But actress Salma Hayek puts on a show as the malevolent Martha Beck. The viewer does not look away from the screen for a second.
The classic film of this genre is, beyond any doubt, Arthur Penn‘s BONNIE & CLYDE, with Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway. Comparing these two films is impossible. Although LONELY HEARTS is a very well made film, BONNIE & CLYDE has that genius touch that makes a movie an eternal cult movie.
Anyway, LONELY HEARTS is worth seeing. It’s a very well done thriller.
