A série ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING recém estreou sua segunda temporada (STAR+) e já foi renovada para uma terceira história.
Charles Haden-Savage (Steve Martin, ótimo) é um veterano e ocioso ator de TV que mora em um predío de Manhattan. Ali ele encontra Mabel Moura (Selena Gomez rechonchuda) uma artista plástica alternativa e o produtor de rádio Oliver Putnam (Martin Short). Os três juntos resolvem investigar por conta própria a morte de uma pessoa no prédio, confrontando a Polícia com um podcast sobre os crimes da vida real.
Nesta segunda temporada, Mabel é acusada de matar uma vizinha odiada do prédio e os três detetives amadores voltam ao trabalho.
O sucesso da primeira temporada foi tamanho que as humoristas Tina Fey e Amy Schumer aparecem neste episódio de estréia do ano dois da série.
As brincadeiras do roteiro com os filmes policiais americanos são bem divertidas. Quem curte filmes onde longas investigações tentam desvendar culpados vai se divertir muito com OMITB.
O elenco agora ainda tem Cara Delevingne, Michael Rapaport e Jackie Hoffman.
Serão mais dez capítulos para a trama da segunda temporada.
Eu gostei de ver principalmente o talento de Steve Martin. Aos 77 anos, ele segue em plena forma, com um talento cômico diferenciado. Na minha opinião é a alma da série.

Charles Haden-Savage (Steve Martin, great) is a veteran, idle TV actor who lives in a Manhattan building. There he meets Mabel Moura (chubby Selena Gomez) an alternative plastic artist and radio producer Oliver Putnam (Martin Short). The three together resolve to investigate the death of a person in the building on their own, confronting the Police with a podcast about real-life crimes.
In this second season, Mabel is accused of killing a hated neighbor of the building and the three amateur detectives go back to work.
The success of the first season was such that comedians Tina Fey and Amy Schumer appear in this year two premiere episode of the series.
The script’s jokes with American detective films are quite fun. Those who enjoy movies where long investigations try to unravel culprits will have a lot of fun with OMITB.
The cast now still has Cara Delevingne, Michael Rapaport and Jackie Hoffman.
There will be ten more chapters for the plot of the second season.
I especially enjoyed seeing Steve Martin’s talent. At 77 years old, he is still in top form, with a distinguished comic talent. In my opinion he is the soul of the series.
