A HBO MAX está exibindo a série de oito capítulos MARIA MARTA: O ASSASSINATO DO COUNTRY CLUBE.
É uma ultra bem produzida recriação de um rumoroso caso de assassinato que abalou a sociedade argentina em 2002.
Maria Marta García Belsunce (Laura Novoa), uma rica mulher moradora do condomínio do Country Club é encontrada morta em casa onde se preparava para tomar um banho. Quem a encontra é o marido que alega que ela escorregou e bateu com a cabeça no registro da banheira.
Depois de idas e vindas, a Polícia e o Ministério público acusam o marido pelo assassinato e os familiares por obstrução à justiça.
O caso tomou o rumo dos tribunais, onde o marido Carlos Carrascosa (impressionante interpretação do ator Jorge Marrale) é condenado à prisão perpétua.
Anos depois, duas blogueiras resolvem retomar o exame do caso e começam a descobrir falhas na investigação e no processo, que podem reverter a condenação do marido da morta.
A série é muito bem feita. A gente fica muito ansioso por saber a evolução de cada nova descoberta do caso.
Não admira que a imprensa argentina aborda o caso Maria Marta há vinte anos, sempre com grande repercussão.
MARIA MARTA – O ASSASSINATO DO COUNTRY CLUBE é um modelar exemplo de série ficcional (com atores e roteiro fictício) feito sobre um caso real. Vale muito a pena ver.
HBO MAX is airing the eight-part series MARIA MARTA: THE MURDER OF THE COUNTRY CLUB.
It is an ultra-well produced recreation of a rumored murder case that rocked Argentine society in 2002.
Maria Marta García Belsunce (Laura Novoa), a wealthy woman who lives in the Country Club condominium, is found dead in her house where she was getting ready to take a shower. The one who finds her is the husband who claims she slipped and hit her head on the bathtub faucet.
After comings and goings, the Police and the Public Ministry accuse her husband of the murder and her family members of obstruction of justice.
The case took the course of the courts, where the husband Carlos Carrascosa (impressive interpretation of the actor Jorge Marrale) is sentenced to life imprisonment.
Years later, two bloggers decide to resume the examination of the case and begin to discover flaws in the investigation and in the process, which could reverse the conviction of the dead woman’s husband.
The series is very well done. We are very anxious to know the evolution of each new discovery of the case.
No wonder the Argentine press has been addressing the Maria Marta case for twenty years, always with great repercussion.
