Vi ontem o capítulo de estréia da nova série da MARVEL, SHE-HULK: ATTORNEY AT LAW. Vou usar o nome em inglês porque achei o título nacional desastroso: MULHER HULK: DEFENSORA DE HERÓIS.
A versátil Tatiana Maslany (uma jovem atriz canadense de 37 anos que brilhou em ORPHAN BLACK fazendo uma dúzia de papéis e foi uma fanática religiosa incrível em PERRY MASON ) vive a advogada Jennifer Walters, uma prima do cientista Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), aquele que vira o Hulk quando está brabo.
Achei a forma escolhida pelo roteiro para ela virar uma She-Hulk muito ruim. A dupla sofrer um acidente de carro, onde o sangue dos dois se mistura foi uma idéia horrorosa. Mas ok, ali já era dado o tom de comédia (ou sátira) que imperou todo o episódio.
O segundo aspecto em que a série surpreende negativamente são os efeitos especiais, justamente um dos aspectos impecáveis das produções da MARVEL. Tive a idéia de que na MARVEL, deve haver um prédio inteiro de especialistas em CGI. Na cobertura fica a turma top, os craques do pedaço. Quanto mais baio o andar vão se estabelecendo os que ainda têm muito a apreender. Para trabalhar em SHE-HULK foi indicado o pessoal do térreo (ou do porão). Os efeitos especiais deste primeiro episódio são mambembes, quase risíveis (será outra sátira?). As “brigas” entre a protagonista e o incrível Hulk são constrangedoras. Até as proporções de tamanho entre os dois estão erradas por muito.
O que foi positivo então?
Eu gosto de Tatiana Maslany. É uma atriz versátil que sabe se estabelecer nos papéis mesmo não sendo nenhuma beleza física notável. Aqui ela faz o patinho feio (que deu muito murro na vida para crescer) que por acidente vira uma pata feia e monstruosa. Acho que a série vai apostar na questão da auto estima da personagem como a gigante verde. A observar.
O segundo foco da história é uma brincadeira sobre super-heróis. a frase mais repetida do primeiro capítulo é aquela sobre a responsabilidade dos super-heróis. Mas de um jeito bem humorado e nada sério. Tanto que protagonista repete sem parar: “eu não quero ser super-herói”. É uma vertente interessante que pode vir a ser desenvolvida nos próximos capítulos.
Para onde vai SHE-HULK? O primeiro episódio deixa muitas dúvidas. Quando foi para a comédia (a discussão sobre a virgindade do Capitão América foi muito boa), fez seus gols. O caminho da sátira parece ser o mais viável. Tomara que seja o escolhido. Aguardemos as cenas dos próximos capítulos.

The second focus of the story is a doubt about superheroes. The most repeated phrase in the first chapter is the one about the responsibility of superheroes. More as a joke and nothing serious. Where is SHE-HULK going?
The first episode left many doubts. As a comedy it made its goals (the argument about the virginity of Captain America was very funny). The satire way seems to be the most viable.
