Um dos tantos filmes clássicos de alfred Hitchcock, PACTO SINISTRO (STRANGERS ON A TRAIN), baseado em um livro de Patricia Highsmith, mostra um tenista que recebe de um estranho uma proposta pouco usual: ele mataria a esposa do tenista e o jogador mataria o pai dele. A falta de conexão deles com as pessoas mortas seria o crime perfeito. Uma obra prima.
A série argentina TUA PARTE DO TRATO (TU PARTE DEL TRATO) disponível na HBO MAX, parte do mesmo princípio. Carlos (Nicolás Cabre), um executivo da área de investimentos, após uma noite de sexo e drogas, recebe uma proposta da enigmática Patricia (Jazmin Stuart): ela mataria o chefe opressor dele e depois pediria um favor que ele seria obrigado a atender.
No dia seguinte, ao chegar ao trabalho, Carlos encontra a Polícia investigando o assassinato de seu chefe, torturado e morto com dois tiros. Apavorado, o protagonista passa a ser assediado por Patrícia que lhe exige que seduza e destrua a médica Maria (Eleonora Wexler), a diretora de um projeto social para crianças pobres, em um bairro de Buenos aires.
Composta de oito capítulos, a série da TNT Latina, Dopamine e Pol-ka Producciones tem inegáveis méritos. É visualmente produzida com excelência (as paisagens de Buenos Aires são belíssimas), sabendo utilizar o contraste entre a riqueza dos ambientes dos protagonistas e a pobreza do bairro onde Maria trabalha.
Mas para mim, o maior mérito da trama é deixar o espectador em dúvida sobre o caráter dos personagens, a partir do relacionamento entre Patrícia e Maria. Por que a exigência de que Carlos destrua a vida de Maria? O que as duas têm em comum? Até onde Carlos vai topar ir no crime solicitado?
TU PARTE DEL TRATO é um série que se vê com interesse crescente e nenhum momento de tédio.
Para uma trama policial, já é um grande mérito a ser considerado.

The Argentine series TU PARTE DEL TRATO, available on HBO MAX, is based on the same principle. Carlos (Nicolás Cabre), an investment executive, after a night of sex and drugs, receives a proposal from the enigmatic Patricia (Jazmin Stuart): she would kill his oppressive boss and then ask for a favor that he would be forced to comply.
The next day, when he arrives at work, Carlos finds the police investigating the murder of his boss, tortured and killed with two shots. Terrified, the protagonist becomes harassed by Patricia, who demands that he seduce and destroy the doctor Maria (Eleonora Wexler), the director of a social project for poor children in a neighborhood in Buenos Aires.
Comprised of eight chapters, the series by TNT Latina, Dopamine and Pol-ka Producciones has undeniable merits. It is visually produced with excellence (the landscapes of Buenos Aires are beautiful), knowing how to use the contrast between the richness of the protagonists’ environments and the poverty of the neighborhood where Maria works.
But for me, the greatest merit of the plot is to leave the viewer in doubt about the evilness of the main characters, from the relationship between Patricia and Maria. Why the demand that Carlos destroy Maria’s life? What do the two women have in common? How far will Carlos agree to go in the requested crime?
TU PARTE DEL TRATO is a series that is watched with increasing interest and no dull moment.
For a thriller plot, it is already a great merit to be considered.
