A Apple TV+ está lançando a série ECHOES, um thriller estrelado pela atriz americana Michelle Monaghan, vivendo duas irmãs gêmeas idênticas (Gina e Leni) que se acostumaram a trocar de lugar durante a vida, enganando todos ao seu redor.

O tema dos gêmeos idênticos já gerou muitos filmes. Talvez o mais assustador seja o de David Cronenberg, estrelado por Jeremy Irons. Mas teve até aventura infanto juvenil, tipo as múltiplas versões de O PRISIONEIRO DA MÁSCARA DE FERRO. Recentemente, o cineasta italiano Roberto andó fez o divertido VIVA LA LIBERTA, onde Toni Servillo faz um político que resolve dar um tempo e é substituído pelo irmão filósofo que estava num hospício. Um belo filme.

In the present tense of the action, Gina lives in California with her writer husband Charlie Davenport (Daniel Sunjata), when she receives news that Leni has disappeared from their small hometown, where she lives with husband Jack Back (Matt Boomer) and daughter Mathilda. (Gabe Swanland).
