JEAN-LUC GODARD: Aos 91 Anos, Morre o Cineasta (de) ACOSSADO

Este terça-feira, dia 13 de setembro de 2022, amanhece com a triste notícia da morte do cineasta francês Jean-Luc Godard.

O jovem Godard escrevia críticas de cinema na revista que fundou, a “Gazette du Cinema”, com Jacques Rivette e Eric Rohmer. Depois passou a escrever para a icônica “Cahiers du Cinema”.

Expoente do movimento “Nouvelle Vague”, a “nova onda” do cinema francês, depois de vários curta metragens, Godard, em 1960, fez o eterno clássico da Nouvelle Vague, À BOUT DE SOUFFLE (ACOSSADO), um filme que marcou época. Godard ganhou um Urso de Prata de Melhor Diretor em Berlim e foi indicado ao prêmio maior do Festival e ao BAFTA. Entrou para a história.

Godard morre deixando 131 trabalhos como diretor.

This Tuesday, September 13, 2022, dawns with the sad news of the death of French filmmaker Jean-Luc Godard.

The young Godard wrote film reviews for the magazine he founded, the “Gazette du Cinema”, with Jacques Rivette and Eric Rohmer. Then he went on to write for the iconic “Cahiers du Cinema”.

Exponent of the “Nouvelle Vague” movement, the “new wave” of French cinema, after several short films, Godard, in 1960, made the eternal classic of the Nouvelle Vague, À BOUT DE SOUFFLE (BREATHLESS), a film that marked an era. Godard won a Silver Bear for Best Director in Berlin and was nominated for the Festival’s major award and BAFTA. He went down in history.
