A chefe de uma ONG (Aliette Opheim) que investiga o desaparecimento de pessoas recebe o contato de uma mulher (Stella Juhlin) dizendo que seu pai (Peter Andersson) desapareceu há dois anos e que a irmã dela (Clara Christiansson Drake) ficou com a fazenda deles sem que as autoridades estejam investigando os fatos.
Quando ela inicia a investigação no local onde morava o desaparecido, ela rapidamente adquire a certeza de que a escorregadia filha mais nova e seu marido agressivo tem coisas a esconder.
Descobrir o que houve com Bengt Lundqvist passa a ser uma obssessão de Tanja Thorell.
Há diversos aspectos muito positivos na série. Tanja passa a agir como uma detetive amadora – embora conheça muito o assunto de pessoas desaparecidas – enfrentando, como sempre, o desinteresse das autoridades locais.
Já vi 4 dos 5 capítulos da série.
Vou ver certo como termina esta história policial dramática sueca.
I saw on Apple TV+ a Swedish series titled THE DARK HEART.
The head of an NGO (Aliette Opheim) that investigates the disappearance of people is contacted by a woman (Stella Juhlin) saying that her father (Peter Andersson) disappeared two years ago and that her sister (Clara Christiansson Drake) took the their farm without the authorities investigating the facts.
When she begins the investigation of the missing man’s home, she quickly becomes certain that the elusive youngest daughter and her aggressive husband have things to hide.
Finding out what happened to Bengt Lundqvist becomes Tanja Thorell’s obsession.
There are several very positive aspects to the series. Tanja begins to act like an amateur detective—although she knows a lot about the missing persons subject—facing, as usual, the disinterest of local authorities.
I’ve seen 4 of the 5 chapters in the series.
I’ll see how this dramatic Swedish detective story ends.
