Nesta última quinta-feira, estreou no Festival de Nova Iorque o filme SHE SAID, dirigido pela cineasta alemã Maria Schrader.
Por diversos motivos, este é um dos filmes que mais quero ver neste final de 2022.
O filme conta as reportagens investigativas das jornalistas do THE NEW YORK TIMES, Jodi Kantor e Megan Twohey que denunciaram os abusos sexuais em Hollywood, que resultaram na queda do magnata dono do MIRAMAX, Harvey Weinstein e no Movimento #MeToo.
As atrizes que interpretam as jornalistas são as ótimas Carey Mulligan e Zoe Kazan. Zoe é neta do lendário diretor de cinema Elia Kazan. O elenco, ótimo, ainda tem Patricia Clarkson, Samantha Morton, Adam Shapiro, Tom Pelphrey, Jennifer Ehle, Zach Grenier, Andre Braugher, Elle Graham, Dalya Knapp, Katherine Kendall, Anastasia Barzee e Sean Cullen.
Confesso que tenho um fascínio por filmes que abordam imprensa, jornalistas, redações e grandes reportagens. TODOS OS HOMENS DO PRESIDENTE, de Alan J. Pakula e SPOTLIGHT, de Tom McCarthy são apenas dois exemplos de obras que admiro muito. Mas o tema já rendeu muitos filmes maravilhosos.
O material que já vi (e as matérias que já li) sobre ELA DISSE me faz muito a fim de ver o filme.
“Will you go on the record?”(“Você aceita falar oficialmente?”) é o brilhante slogan do filme, indicando a dificuldade que as jornalistas tiveram de que as pessoas envolvidas falassem sobre o escândalo.

The material I’ve seen (and the stories I’ve read) about SHE SAID makes me want to see the movie a lot.
“Will you go on the record?” is the film’s brilliant tagline, indicating the difficulty journalists had to get the people involved to talk about the scandal.
