Já escrevi aqui que não entendi a quantidade de prêmios que a série da HBO, THE WHITE LOTUS ganhou em sua temporada de estréia. Achei a série comum e as cenas mais ousadas muito próximas do mau gosto.
Também já disse que a segunda temporada me soou bem melhor. A transferência da ação para a costa italiana fez muito bem à trama. Volta e meia a gente se pega admirado com a beleza de certas paisagens da região. Ontem vi o quinto episódio dos sete que compõem esta segunda temporada: THAT’S AMORE.
F, Murray Abraham, Tom Hollander, Jennifer Coolidge, Adm di Marco, Meghann Fahy, Beatrice Grannò, Sabrina Impacciatore, Michael Imperioli, Aubrey Plaza e Haley Lu Richardson são um elenco igualmente superior ao Opus One.
O ponto alto foi a visita de três americanos de origem italiana ao lugar onde foram feitas as locações italianas de THE GODFATHER. Um momento sublime.
O esquema de “quem morreu?”(já que o primeiro episódio mostra as autoridades recolhendo um corpo) segue funcionando muito bem.
Como uma programação para adultos, THE WHITE LOTUS se propõe a forçar barreiras em cenas de drogas e sexo.
Acho que é outro objetivo que vem sendo alcançado.
Vamos ver como os produtores fecham esta segunda temporada. Até porque a terceira já foi confirmada.
I already wrote here that I didn’t understand the amount of awards that the HBO series, THE WHITE LOTUS won in its debut season. I found the series common and the most daring scenes very close to bad taste.
I also said that the second season sounded much better to me. The transfer of the action to the Italian coast did the plot a lot of good. Every now and then we find ourselves in awe of the beauty of certain landscapes in the region. Yesterday I saw the fifth episode of the seven that make up this second season: THAT’S LOVE.
F, Murray Abraham, Tom Hollander, Jennifer Coolidge, Adam di Marco, Meghann Fahy, Beatrice Grannò, Sabrina Impacciatore, Michael Imperioli, Aubrey Plaza and Haley Lu Richardson are an equally superior cast to Opus One.
The highlight was the visit of three Americans of Italian origin to the place where THE GODFATHER‘s Italian locations were made. A sublime moment.
The “who died?” scheme (since the first episode shows the authorities collecting a body) continues to work very well.
As adult programming, THE WHITE LOTUS sets out to push boundaries in drug and sex scenes.
I think this is another objective that has been achieved.
Let’s see how the producers close this second season. Even because the third has already been confirmed.
