A NETFLIX está mostrando o longa metragem PERSUASÃO, dirigido pela cineasta britânica (notável por peças do West End que dirigiu) Carrie Cracknell.
O filme é mais uma adaptação de um livro de Jane Austen.
Bem fraquinho.
A produção é esmerada, mas achei a visão do texto quadrada e conservadora demais, mesmo se tratando das intrigas casamenteiras de Mrs. Austen.
E ainda desperdiçou a ótima Dakota Johnson…

The film is yet another adaptation of a Jane Austen book.
Very weak.
The production is meticulous, but I found the vision of the text too square and conservative, even when dealing with the matchmaking intrigues of Mrs. Austen.
And still wasted the ascending Dakota Johnson…
