Arrisquei ver BLACK ADAM, que entrou no HBO MAX. O filme dirigido pelo competente cineasta Jaume Collet Serra (autor dos bons THE SHALLOWS e UNKNOWN e do lamentável HOUSE OF WAX) é uma decepção.
Os filmes da DC seguem exagerados. Há vilões demais, explicações e nomes demais, brigas demais, explosões demais, cores demais. Outra vez há momentos que parecem vindos de um desfile de carnaval do Rio de Janeiro.
A mitologia que explica a trama é muito longa e cheia de tribos, mitos, vilões e lugares. A gente desiste de entender muito cedo no filme.
The Rock, que inegavelmente é uma “persona” do entretenimento se perde numa trama que se pretende séria demais. O vilão que vira herói, impressionado pelos fracos e oprimidos. Muito raso.
Pena que o filme desperdice um bom elenco, com Pierce Brosnam, Aldis Hodge e a linda Sarah Shari.
Um dia vão ver na DC que, como na MARVEL, menos é mais.
