Recomendado por várias pessoas, ontem fui ver a mini série francesa BORBOLETAS NEGRAS, na NETFLIX.
LES PAPILLONS NOIRS inicia como um filme tradicional. Um ghost writer – que na verdade é um escritor atravessando um bloqueio criativo – é contratado por um idoso Albert Desiderio, para escrever sua biografia. Ele está aposentado no interior da França (belas locações em Montpellier) e deseja contar para registro em livro, o amor de mais de 60 anos que teve com sua inesquecível Solange.
O escritor Adrien (Nicholas Duvauchelle) logo imagina o livro “A História de Amor de Albert e Solange”, um romance que inicia antes da guerra, cheio de cenas românticas.
Mas nada é o que parece. Logo no início, o idoso Albert (Niels Arestrup, ótimo) passa a dar ao escritor – para surpresa dele e do espectador – que os idílicos Albert e Solange forma na verdade serial killers que mataram dezenas de pessoas nos anos 70 e se divertiam em apimentadas cenas de sexo entre cada assassinato.
O twist é tão surpreendente que quase achei ter tocado o botão do controle remoto e inadvertidamente ter trocado de filme. Impressionante amudança da narrativa promovda pelos produtores Olivier Abbou e Bruno Merle.
As cenas românticas são substituídas por mortes sanguinolentas e transas atléticas nas mais inusitadas posições.
Albert jovem é vivido por Axel Granberger. Mas a atração é a Solange jovem, interpretada pela Alizée Costes, já vista em OS PEQUENOS ASSASSINATOS e A JUÍZA É UMA MULHER. A ruivinha mortal não hesita um segundo em sua vida de sexo e violência, ao lado de Albert.
Primorosamente editada, BORBOLETAS NEGRAS é muito criativa ao mesclar esta trama incrível com o relacionamento do escritor Adrien com sua namorada Nora (Alice Beraldi) e seu passado envolto em vários mistérios.
Gostei tanto de BLACK BUTERFILIES que vou degustar os capítulos finais no próximo final de semana.
Não sei o que esperar. Será que a trama reserva alguma outra reviravolta tão desconcertante?

LES PAPILLONS NOIRS starts like a traditional film. A ghost writer – who is actually a writer going through a writer’s block – is hired by an elderly Albert Desiderio, to write his biography.
He is retired in the French countryside (beautiful locations in Montpellier) and wants to record in a book the love he had with his unforgettable Solange for more than 60 years.
Writer Adrien (Nicholas Duvauchelle) soon imagines the book “The Love Story of Albert and Solange”, a novel that begins before the war, full of romantic scenes.
But nothing is what it seems.
Early on, the elderly Albert (Niels Arestrup, great) starts to give the writer – to his and the viewer’s surprise – that the idyllic Albert and Solange actually form serial killers who killed dozens of people in the 70s and enjoyed themselves in spicy sex scenes between each murder.
The twist is so surprising that I almost thought I’d touched the remote control button and inadvertently switched movies. Impressive change of narrative promoted by producers Olivier Abbou and Bruno Merle.
The romantic scenes are replaced by bloodthirsty deaths and athletic sex in the most unusual positions.
Young Albert is played by Axel Granberger. But the attraction is the young Solange, played by Alizée Costes, already seen in THE SMALL MURDERS and THE JUDGE IS A WOMAN. The deadly redhead doesn’t hesitate a second in her life of sex and violence, next to Albert.
Finely edited, LES PAPILLONS NOIRS is very creative in merging this incredible plot with the writer Adrien’s relationship with his girlfriend Nora (Alice Beraldi) and thewriter’s past shrouded in various mysteries.
I liked BLACK BUTTERFLIES so much that I’m going to taste the final chapters next weekend.
Not sure what to expect. Does the plot has another exquisite twist?
