Na minha opinião, ela foi o maior símbolo sexual do cinema nos anos 60. Pelo menos em Hollywood.
Não havia quarto de adolescente que não tivesse aquela célebre foto de Raquel Welch com um biquini de peles, no filme MIL SÉCULOS ANTES DE CRISTO (ONE MILLION YEARS B.C.). Por sinal, era um filme bem ruinzinho, como a maioria que ela fez na sua carreira de 73 filmes como atriz.
Raquel Welch tinha uma beleza incomparável. Mas talento dramático passava longe dela.
Há bons filmes com ela. Poucos, mas há.
A MULHER DE PEDRA, com Frank Sinatra, um policial dirigido por Gordon Douglas, em 1968. Três westerns que ela estrelou, 100 RIFLES, BANDOLERO! e HANNIE CAULDER são bem assistíveis.
A refilmagem de OS TRÊS MOSQUETEIROS, que Richard Fleischer fez em 1973 é bem divertido. VIAGEM FANTÁSTICA, também de Fleischer é outro bom filme.
Mas a maioria dos filmes dela eram apenas para mostrar sua beleza impressionante.

Three westerns she starred in, 100 RIFLES, BANDOLERO! and HANNIE CAULDER are very watchable.
Richard Fleischer‘s remake of THE THREE MUSKETEERS in 1973 is a lot of fun. FANTASTIC VOYAGE, also by Fleischer is also very good.
But most of her movies were just to show her stunning beauty.
With Raquel Welch an era dies.
