Um homem e uma mulher têm seus planos de viagem cancelados por uma tempestade, justamente na véspera do ano novo. São colocados em um excelente hotel na Tríplice Fronteira entre Argentina, Brasil e Paraguai. A atração entre os dois é inevitável, isolados naquele hotal numa data tão evocativa.

Lucia é a atriz argentina Emilia Attias, de EL SECRETO DE LUCIA e MATAR A VIDELA. Lucia é uma mulher bonita, sedutora, decidida, mas carrega incertezas que vão vir à tona nos diálogos que trava com o desconhecido homem que por coincidência, divide o hotel com ela.
Ele é Horácio (Turco Naim, de AIRE LIBRE), um homem casado com uma alemã que está por chegar para ficar com ele no Reveillon. Mora na Europa, é produtor musical e trabalha com importação de tecidos.

UNA SOLA NOCHE resultou em um filme interessante, que jamais deixa o espectador entediado. O roteiro escrito por Maria Laura Gargarella sabe criar diálogos e situações que vão crescendo em interesse.
Talvez o filme pudesse ousar mais na entrega física dos dois personagens, mas o filme cumpre seu papel com louvor.
