A APPLETV+ lançou nesta sexta-feira a série LIAISON.
É a história de uma séire de cyber attacks sofridos em Londres. que motivam a mobilização dos serviços de inteligência das grandes potências.
Não bastasse a atulidade (assustadora) do tema, a produção esmerada da série acertou em cheio na escolha da dupla central: os ótimos atores franceses Vincent Cassel e Eva Green. Na minha opinião, além de suas inegáveis qualidades interpretativas, os dois têm aquele ar “cool” que lhes outorga uma atratividade e um mistério excelentes para o desenvolvimento da trama. São mocinhos ou vilões? Aguarde as cenas dos próximos capítulos.
O elenco – ótimo – ainda tem Daniel Francis, Läetitita Eido, Peter Mullan, Irene Jacob (a musa do Kieslowsky), Olivia Popica e Patrick Kennedy.
Cassel faz um free lancer, a serviço da inteligência francesa na busca de encontrar dois hackers sírios em fuga para o ocidente. Green vive uma alta funcionária da inteligência britânica – que tem um passado caliente com o personagem de Cassell – casada hoje com um ascendente advogado de direitos humanos de Londres.
Temos todos os elementos de um coquetel explosivo.
O primeiro episódio de LIAISON foi nada menos que brilhante. Movimentado, denso, tenso, cheio de ação, intrigas políticas internas das grandes potências, agências de inteligência se enganando mutuamente, perseguições, ufa…
Gostei demais do título da série. Já deu para ver que LIGAÇÕES são o que não falta entre os personagens.

As if the (frightening) topicality of the theme was not enough, the careful production of the series was right in choosing the central duo: the great French actors Vincent Cassel and Eva Green. In my opinion, in addition to their undeniable interpretive qualities, both have that “cool” air that gives them an excellent attractiveness and mystery for the development of the plot. Are they good guys or villains? Wait for the scenes of the next chapters.

Cassel is a freelancer working for French intelligence in the quest to find two Syrian hackers fleeing to the West. Green plays a senior British intelligence official – who has a hot past with Cassell’s character – now married to a rising London human rights lawyer.
We have all the elements of an explosive cocktail.
The first episode of LIAISON was nothing short of brilliant. Busy, dense, tense, full of action, internal political intrigues of the great powers, intelligence agencies deceiving each other, persecutions, phew…
I really liked the title of the series. You can already see that LIAISON are not lacking between the characters.
