Terminei de ver a primeira temporada da produção original da Apple TV+, SHRINKING.
Foi, sem dúvida, uma das melhores séries do ano.
O episódio final realmente coroou os textos excelentes que desfrutamos durante toda a série.
Os problemas emocionais, medos, lutos, frustrações, anseios, paixões e sonhos de psiquiatras e pacientes foram examinados com profundidade e graça, gerando diálogos, cenas e personagens que vão permanecer conosco.
Harrison Ford, Jason Segel (também roteirista da série) e Jessica Williams criaram três terapeutas tão humanos que a gente parece conhece-los de verdade.
O décimo episódio foi o a’pice da série. O final foi daqueles que dá vontade de levantar e aplaudir.
Já se sabe que haverá uma segunda temporada. O fato me provoca um sentimento ambíguo. Quero continuar vendo Jimmy, Gaby e Paul (os três terapeutas) mas tenho medo que seja impossível fazer algo tão tocante quanto esta season finale.
I just finished watching the first season of the original Apple TV+ production, SHRINKING.
It was, without a doubt, one of the best series of the year.
The final episode really capped off the excellent writing we’ve enjoyed throughout the series.
The emotional problems, fears, grief, frustrations, yearnings, passions and dreams of psychiatrists and patients alike were examined with depth and grace, generating dialogues, scenes and characters that will stay with us.
Harrison Ford, Jason Segel (also series writer) and Jessica Williams created three therapists so human that we seem to know them for real.
The tenth episode was the pinnacle of the series. The ending was one of those that makes you want to stand up and applaud.
It is already known that there will be a second season. The fact provokes an ambiguous feeling in me. I want to keep seeing Jimmy, Gaby and Paul (the three therapists) but I’m afraid it’s impossible to make something as touching as this season finale.
