CREED III está disponível no NOW e na Apple TV. O filme foi dirigido pelo ator californiano Michael B. Jordan, que vem fazendo sólida carreira nas franquias CREED e BLACK PANTHER.
Jordan seguiu a cartilha que John G. Avildsen criou para o primeiro filme ROCKY, no já distante 1976, filme que segue sendo o melhor desta série. Lutas de boxe magistralmente filmadas, colocando o espectador dentro do ringue, música tonitruante e motivadora, cenas de redenção no treinamento dos mocinhos e emoções familiares mesclando alegrias e tristezas.
Quando Sylvester Stallone resolveu aposentar ROCKY e criar Adonis Creed, o filho bastardo de Apollo Creed, confesso que tive dúvidas. Pois olha que a ideia de Stallone revigorou a franquia, graças também à chegada de Michael B. Jordan.
CREED e CREED II foram ótimos filmes.
CREED III introduz um elemento interessante. Agrega a culpa do protagonista Adonis, em relação a seu irmão de gueto, o violento ex-presidiário Damian Anderson (Jonathan Majors). Estar rico leva Doni a estender a mão para o amigo de infância.
As coisas saem do trilho rapidamente.
Vem aí as inevitáveis cenas de treinamento e vamos para a luta decisiva.
Jordan filme muito bem e edita seu filme de forma excelente. Inexiste um só momento de tédio ou de indagação pelo espectador sobre se já viu essa história.
A excepcional música de ROCKY somente entra no momento chave do filme. Outra ótima decisão.
Já não sei se este é o oitavo ou nono filme originado por ROCKY.
O que posso afirmar é que segue funcionando. Ah, o mestre John G. Avildsen!

Jordan followed the guide that John G. Avildsen created for the first ROCKY film, in the now distant 1976, a film that remains the best of this series. Masterfully filmed boxing matches, putting the viewer inside the ring, thunderous and motivating music, scenes of redemption in the training of the good guys and familiar emotions mixing joys and sorrows.
When Sylvester Stallone decided to retire ROCKY and create Adonis Creed, the bastard son of Apollo Creed, I confess that I had doubts. Well, Stallone’s idea reinvigorated the franchise, thanks also to the arrival of Michael B. Jordan.
CREED and CREED II were great movies.
CREED III introduces an interesting element. Adds the guilt of the protagonist Adonis, in relation to his ghetto brother, the violent ex-convict Damian Anderson (Jonathan Majors). Being rich leads Doni to reach out to his childhood friend.
Things go off the rails quickly.
Here comes the inevitable training scenes and we go to the decisive fight.
Jordan films very well and edits his film excellently. There is not a single moment of boredom or of wondering by the viewer whether he has seen this story before.
ROCKY’s exceptional music only comes in at the film’s key moment. Another great decision.
I don’t know if this is the eighth or ninth movie ROCKY originated.
All I can say is that it still works. Ah, Master John G. Avildsen!
