Um dos próximos lançamentos que mais me chama a atenção é TO CATCH A KILLER, que o cineasta argentino Damián Szifrón dirigiu em sua estréia em Hollywood.
Szifrón encantou a todos com seu trabalho como roteirista e diretor do excelente RELATOS SELVAGENS, um dos melhores filmes argentinos dos últimos anos.
Em TO CATCH A KILLER, ele também atua como roteirista e diretor de uma história policial sobre uma jovem policial com problemas emocionais que é recrutada por um veterano agente do FBI para ajudar na captura de um Serial Killer que aterroriza Baltimore na véspera do ano novo.
O duo central de atores não podia ser mais interessante. Shailene Woodley, 32 anos, já tem 34 prêmios de interpretação e melhora a cada trabalho. Ben Mendelsohn deu um show na intrigante série da HBO, THE OUTSIDER.

One of the upcoming releases that most calls my attention is TO CATCH A KILLER, which Argentine filmmaker Damián Szifrón directed in his Hollywood debut.
Szifrón enchanted everyone with his work as screenwriter and director of the excellent WILD TALES, one of the best Argentine films of recent years.
In TO CATCH A KILLER, he also serves as the writer and director of a crime story about an emotionally challenged female young cop who is recruited by a veteran FBI agent to help capture a serial killer that is terrorising Baltimore on New Year’s Eve.
