ANNIE HALL: Foi um Prazer Enorme Rever Aquele que Para Mim é o Melhor Filme de Woody Allen

Acho muito engraçado quando as pessoas que dispõem de serviços de streaming me dizem que passam horas buscando um filme para ver e não acham nada de bom.

Ontem vi duas reprises no Amazon Prime Video.

O primeiro foi ANNIE HALL (1977), de WOODY ALLEN. Me recuso a usar o inacreditável título brasileiro NOIVO NEURÓTICO, NOIVA NERVOSA, uma pérola inesquecível do non sense.

ANNIE HALL é um filme perfeito. É engraçado como raríssimos filmes são. Tem dezenas de piadas maravilhosas satirizando o judaísmo, o intelectualismo falso (Marshall McLuhan saindo de trás do cartaz de cinema para desmentir um chato falante é antológico), o racismo, a rivalidade Nova Iorque x Los Angeles, as drogas, a hipocondria, a influência materna, os políticos e por aí vai.

Diane Keaton estava no auge de sua beleza desestruturada e contestadora. Que atriz incrível.

Ri demais. É uma comédia do melhor nível.

Mas, ao melhor estilo do mestre Allen, quando vai para o drama, é igualmente contundente.

Por que somos tão marcados por fatos e pessoas da nossa infância? Por que não conseguimos nos libertar de pai e mãe? Por que reproduzimos os mesmos erros a cada relacionamento amoroso? Por que sofremos tanto em vez de curtir uma vida tão curta

Também no drama WOODY ALLEN acerta na veia.

ANNIE HALL é um drama nota dez. mereceu todos os Oscars que venceu.

Sou um grande fã do cinema de WOODY ALLEN. Acho MATCH POINT, CRIMES E PECADOS, MANHATTAN, LOVE AND DEATH, filmes espetaculares.

Mas ANNIE HALL sempre teve um lugar especial no meu coração.

Mr. Allen consegue me divertir e emocionar na mesma medida.

Mesmo que eu esteja vendo esta obra prima pelo 50a. vez.

I find it really funny when people who have streaming services tell me that they spend hours looking for a movie to watch and don’t think anything good.

Yesterday I saw two reruns on Amazon Prime Video.

The first was ANNIE HALL (1977), by WOODY ALLEN. I refuse to use the unbelievable Brazilian title NOIVO NEURÓTICO, NOIVA NERVOSA, an unforgettable pearl of non sense.

ANNIE HALL is a perfect movie. It’s funny how rare movies are. It has dozens of wonderful jokes satirizing Judaism, fake intellectualism (Marshall McLuhan coming out from behind a movie poster to deny a talkative bore is anthology), racism, the New York vs Los Angeles rivalry, drugs, hypochondria, influence motherhood, politicians and so on.

Diane Keaton was at the height of her unstructured and challenging beauty. What an incredible actress.

I laughed too much. It’s comedy at its best.

But, in the best style of the master Allen, when he goes to the drama, he is equally blunt.

Why are we so marked by facts and people from our childhood? Why can’t we free ourselves from father and mother? Why do we reproduce the same mistakes in every love relationship? Why do we suffer so much instead of enjoying such a short life?

Also in the drama WOODY ALLEN hits the nail on the head.

ANNIE HALL is a top ten drama. It deserved all the Oscars it won.

I’m a huge fan of WOODY ALLEN’s cinema. I think MATCH POINT, CRIMES AND MISDEMEANORS, MANHATTAN, LOVE AND DEATH are spectacular films.

But ANNIE HALL has always had a special place in my heart.

Mr. Allen manages to amuse and thrill me in equal measure.

Even though I’ve been viewing this masterpiece for the 50th. time.
