Foi extraordinário o final da série TRUE DETECTIVE: THE NIGHT COUNTRY. O sexto e último episódio desta quarta temporada fez jus a tudo que prometia. Jodie Foster e Kali Reis deram os show como Denvers e Navarro, as duas policiais buscando resolver o mistério da morte dos técnicos da estação Tsalal.
Acho que raríssimos filmes mostraram o Alasca como esta série. as belezas, os dramas, os mistérios, os problemas, o misticismo, está tudo lá. Feminismo, ambientalismo, preconceitos tudo o que importa discutir neste momento aparece na história.
De quebra, com uma trama de mistério realmente superior.
Dois outros destaques obrigatórios: a perfeita utilização do som (um elemento essencial principalmente neste último episódio) e a cenografia (a cena em que Danvers cai pelo gelo rompido é primorosamente fotografada, belíssima.
Uma nota para Fiona Lewis: como uma grande atriz pode ser excepcional em um pequeno papel. Um show a parte.
THE NIGHT COUNTRY centra sua narrativa nos vivos e mortos que todos temos em nossa vida. Faz isso com contundência, mas com um lirismo impressionante.
Para mim, se inscreveu entre os grandes shows da TV em todos os tempos.

The end of the TRUE DETECTIVE: THE NIGHT COUNTRY series was extraordinary. The sixth and final episode of this fourth season lived up to everything it promised. Jodie Foster and Kali Reis performed as Denvers and Navarro, the two police officers trying to solve the mystery of the death of the Tsalal station technicians.
I think very few films have shown Alaska like this series. the beauties, the dramas, the mysteries, the problems, the mysticism, it’s all there.
Plus, with a truly superior mystery plot.
Two other mandatory highlights: the perfect use of sound (an essential element especially in this last episode) and the scenography (the scene in which Danvers falls through the broken ice is exquisitely photographed, beautiful.
A note to Fiona Lewis: how a great actress can be exceptional in a small role. A total show.
THE NIGHT COUNTRY centers its narrative on the living and dead that we all have in our lives. He does this forcefully, but with impressive lyricism.
For me, it is one of the greatest TV shows of all time.
