Dean Martin, por exemplo foi o AGENTE MATT HELM em três filmes. James Coburn viveu o espião Flint em um par de títulos. A série O AGENTE DA UNCLE, com Robert Vaughn como Napoleon Solo teve quatro temporadas e mais de 100 episódios. E o que dizer da franquia AUSTIN POWERS, com Mike Myers e sua legião de fãs? Fazer graça sobre as histórias dos agentes secretos sempre rendeu bons frutos.
O êxito de Tom Cruise com a franquia MISSÃO IMPOSSÍVEL é um prato cheio para as sátiras. Meses atrás apareceu o trailer do filme ARGYLLE e me pareceu retomar o gênero em ótimo nível. Grave erro. O filme era quadrado, sem criatividade e gastou um orçamento milionário para quase nada.
O Amazon Prime Video está exibindo o filme argentino JAQUE MATE, do cineasta Jorge Nisco, uma sátira muito divertida sobre um super espião internacional e sua trupe de impagáveis auxiliares.
Mais uma vez, o cinema argentino dá um show de competência. O filme tem 104 minutos de pura ação, com situações humorísticas impagáveis.
O sequestro da sobrinha do herói Duque (Adrian Suar, ótimo) pelo super vilão Rey (Mike Amigorena), faz nosso herói reunir novamente a sedutora Sofia (Maggie Civantos), o genial hacker Sair (Tsahi Halevi), o especialista em bombas Molo (Jose Eduardo Derbez) e o aloprado Malcosido (Benjamin Amadeo), para resgatar a menina e salvar o mundo livre.
O roteiro recria situações vistas à exaustão nos filmes de 007, Ethan Hunt e seus congêneres.
Mas aqui tudo é feito com humor e graça. E uma fina ironia.
Por exemplo, depois de uma matança de vilões pelo mocinho, um dos bandidos telefona – olhando para os cadáveres espalhados – e diz “vamos precisar de um serviço de limpeza”.
Tem até mesmo o famoso “mole”, um dos mocinhos que está vendido para os maus e tari sem piedade seus companheiros de trabalho.
Gostei muito de JAQUE MATE.
Como sou fã dos filmes de espiões, me divertiu demais.
É mais um entretenimento de alto nível do cinema platino.

Months ago the trailer for the film ARGYLLE appeared and it seemed to me to bring the genre back to a great level. Serious error. The film was square, uncreative and spent a million-dollar budget for almost nothing.

The kidnapping of the niece of the hero Duque (Adrian Suar, great) by the super villain Rey (Mike Amigorena), brings our hero together again with the seductive Sofia (Maggie Civantos), the genius hacker Sair (Tsahi Halevi), the bomb specialist Molo ( Jose Eduardo Derbez) and the crazy Malcosido (Benjamin Amadeo), to rescue the girl and save the free world.
The script recreates situations seen extensively in the 007, Ethan Hunt and similar films.
But here everything is done with humor and grace. And a fine irony.
For example, after a bad guy killing spree, one of the bad guys calls – looking at the scattered corpses – and says “we’re going to need a cleaning service.”
There’s even the famous “mole”, one of the good guys who is sold out to the bad guys and mercilessly targets his co-workers.
I really liked JAQUE MATE.
As I’m a fan of spy films, I had a lot of fun.
It’s another high-level entertainment from platinum cinema.
