Entrou em cartaz no Amazon Prime Video, a comédia romântica UMA IDEIA DE VOCÊ, que o diretor Michael Showalter fez a partir do best seller escrito por Robinne Lee.
Anne Hathaway é a protagonista vivendo a divorciada dona de uma pequena galeria de arte próxima de LA, que por acidente conhece um astro da música, interpretado pelo ascendente Nicholas Galitzine.
O roteiro traz todas as cenas usuais das comédias românticas. Mas faz isso com graça e humor, deixando o espectador bem atento aos rumos da trama.
Claro que o fato da personagem Solène ser vários anos mais velha que Hayes se apresenta como um ponto essencial de conflito entre eles.
Há outros temas interessantes como redes sociais e seus julgamentos instantâneos, paparazzis, inveja, e vários outros.
Mas em momento algum foi interesse do diretor aprofundar muito algum deles.
O objetivo central sempre foi ter uma comédia romântica graciosa para fazer Anne Hathaway mostrar seu talento. Funcionou. A atriz oscarizada de LES MISERABLES segue sendo uma presença nas telas. Sabe fazer comédia e drama por igual. Sua Solène é atraente, sensual, decidida e, ao mesmo tempo ingênua, hesitante e medrosa.

Anne Hathaway is the protagonist, playing the divorced owner of a small art gallery near LA, who by accident meets a music star, played by the ascendant Nicholas Galitzine.
The script features all the usual scenes from romantic comedies. But it does so with grace and humor, leaving the viewer very attentive to the direction of the plot.
Of course, the fact that the character Solène is several years older than Hayes presents itself as an essential point of conflict between them.
There are other interesting topics such as social networks and their instant judgments, paparazzi, envy, and many others.
But at no point was the director interested in delving too deeply into any of them.
The central goal was always to have a graceful romantic comedy to make Anne Hathaway show off her talent. It worked. The Oscar-winning actress from LES MISERABLES continues to be a huge presence on screen. She knows how to do comedy and drama equally. Her Solène is attractive, sensual, determined and, at the same time, naive, hesitant and fearful.
THE IDEA OF YOU is great entertainment. Anne Hathaway has the main credit for it.
