Adaptação do romance de Colleen Hoover, elenco com Blake Lively, Justin Baldoni – que também é o diretor – e Brandon Sklenar. O filme é envolvente, sedutor, tem uma beleza estética refinada – tanto dos atores do triângulo amoroso quanto dos locais, das cores que temperam o filme.
A história tem um realismo inquietante ao abordar a violência contra a mulher. A película retrata que não há estereótipos para agressores, há sim o que cada um carrega e, principalmente, a forma como lida e como transfere para quem está próximo.
O filme enfrenta o problema, emite alertas, escancara não de um jeito binário, mas dentro das possibilidades de um contexto de vida para ser vivida. Fala de amor, perdão, projeta coragem e inspiração.
E a série mais surpreendente que assisti em 2024 foi ”O assassino Zen”. Uma produção alemã inteligente, com ótimas sacadas e muito divertida.
Trata-se da história de um advogado da máfia que cansado da vida estressante e da sensação de viver pressionado por escolhas que não são suas, busca um curso alternativo para garantir o pleno equilíbrio. De um jeito pouco convencional, ele alcança êxito na empreitada.
O ator Tom Schilling está fantástico no papel do advogado Björn Diemel. Para quem busca uma série leve, o “Assassino Zen” é uma boa pedida.

In 2024, we had a good crop of films. One of the most touching for me was “It Ends With Us.”
An adaptation of the novel by Colleen Hoover, the cast includes Blake Lively, Justin Baldoni – who is also the director – and Brandon Sklenar. The film is engaging, seductive, and has a refined aesthetic beauty – both from the actors in the love triangle and the locations, and from the colors that spice up the film.

And the most surprising series I watched in 2024 was “Murder Mindfully”. An intelligent German production, with great ideas and a lot of fun.
It is the story of a mafia lawyer who, tired of a stressful life and the feeling of being pressured by choices that are not his, seeks an alternative course to ensure complete balance. In an unconventional way, he achieves success in the endeavor.
Actor Tom Schilling is fantastic in the role of lawyer Björn Diemel. For those looking for a light series, “Murder Mindfully” is a good choice.
