TARZAN bom mesmo segue sendo o do Johnny Weissmuller.
A LENDA DE TARZAN (2016), de David Yates tem muitas qualidades, um elenco ótimo, efeitos especiais prodigiosos, mas abdicou de centrar seu foco na parte mais interessante da historia do homem-macaco, sua origem.
Buscando ser inovador, o filme inicia com Tarzan (Alexander Skarsgard, de TRUE BLOOD), já na Inglaterra como Lorde Greystoke III, muito bem instalado em uma sombria mansão com sua belíssima Jane (a cada vez mais linda Margot Robbie).
Por uma intriga politica são obrigados a retornar ao Congo, onde o vilão Leon Rom (Christopher Waltz, se especializando no tipo) tem um plano mirabolante para enriquecer e matar Tarzan.
O filme, em muitos flashbacks vai contando a historia de Tarzan, mas centra sua ação no plano do bandido, o que me pareceu uma perda grave.
Quando a turma do CGI (efeitos especiais) assumiu a direção do filme, então, achei que o interesse diminuiu bastante.
Bonito, bem feito, romântico, movimentado, mas sem aquela ingenuidade e aventura pura que os filmes de Tarzan antigos traziam com tanta sabedoria e criatividade.
Ali, o mais importante eram Tarzan, Jane e Chita e não os efeitos especiais.

THE LEGEND OF TARZAN (2016), by David Yates has many qualities, a great cast, prodigious special effects but it abdicated to focus its action on the most interesting part of the ape-man history, his origin.
Seeking to be innovative, the film begins with Tarzan (Alexander Skarsgard of TRUE BLOOD), already in England as Lord Greystoke III, well installed in a gloomy mansion with his beautiful Jane (the increasingly beautiful Margot Robbie).
Because of a political intrigue they are required to return to the Congo, where the villain Leon Rom (Christopher Waltz, specializing in type) has a preposterous plan to enrich and kill Tarzan.
The film, in many flashbacks will telling the Tarzan story, but focuses its action in the crook’s plan, which seemed a serious loss.
When the class of CGI (special effects) took the direction of the film, then, I thought the interest greatly diminished.
Beautiful, well done, romantic, busy but without that naive and pure adventure that the old Tarzan movies brought with so much wisdom and creativity.
In those movies, the most important were Tarzan, Jane and Cheetah and not the special effects.
