Todo ano os indicados para o Oscar merecem críticas pelos que ficaram de fora e pelos que entraram e supostamente não mereciam. Eu raramente concordo com estas matérias. Acho que todo mundo que conseguiu uma indicação mereceu.
Mas acho que alguns que ficaram de fora, mereciam entrar.
LA LA LAND ser indicado a 14 prêmios, empatando com TITANIC e A MALVADA me parece justíssimo, pois, para mi, é o filme do ano.
Acho A CHEGADA um grande filme. Pelo que li, os outros indicados (quase todos independentes) fizeram por merecer suas indicações.
Meryl Streep atingir sua vigésima indicação ao Oscar é, sem dúvida, mais um feito de uma extraordinária atriz. Mas acho que o prêmio vai para Isabelle Huppert ou Emma Stone.
Aliás, acho que este ano, não vai haver divisão de prêmios, mas que LA LA LAND vai sair de mãos cheias.
Por fim, neste comentário inicial, acho que ANIMAIS NOTURNOS podia ter aparecido mais. SULLY também. ROGUE ONE idem. Mas aí, a lista ficaria enorme.

Every year the nominees for the Oscars deserve criticism for those who stayed out and for those who entered and supposedly did not deserve it. I rarely agree with these matters. I think everyone who got a nomination deserved it.
But I think that some several who were left out, deserved to enter.
LA LA LAND is nominated for 14 Oscars, tying it with TITANIC and ALL ABOUT EVE seems fair to me, because to me, it’s the movie of the year.
I think ARRIVAL is a great movie. From what I read, the other nominees (almost all independent films) deserve their nominations.
Meryl Streep reaching her 20th Oscar nomination is undoubtedly one more feat of an extraordinary actress. But I think the prize goes to Isabelle Huppert or Emma Stone.
Incidentally, I think this year, there will be no division of prizes, but that LA LA LAND will leave the night with full hands.
Finally, in this initial comment, I think NOCTURNAL ANIMALS might have appeared more. SULLY, too. ROGUE ONE idem. But then, the list would be huge.
Oh, even I’m complaining about the Academy ….
