CRIMES OCULTOS, do sueco Daniel Espinosa é um filme que reuniu um elenco extraordinário para contar a história de um serial killer na União Soviética durante a Era Stalin.
Tom Hardy(MAD MAX), Joel Kinnamann(THE KILLING), Noomi Rapace (OS HOMENS QUE NÃO AMAVAM AS MULHERES), Jason Clarke(O PLANETA DOS MACACOS), Paddy Considine (A LUTA PELA ESPERANÇA), o sempre extraordinário Gary Oldman (BRAM STOKER DRACULA) e Vincent Cassel (O CISNE NEGRO) compõem um cast incrível reunido pelo diretor.
Com todo este talento à disposição, na minha opinião, faltou muita coisa para o filme atingir seus objetivos. Especialmente por ter optado, desde o início em mostrar quem era o serial killer, retirando qualquer mistério sobre sua identidade e os motivos de seus crimes, o filme deixou pouco como suspense para o final.
Ainda achei mais duvidoso foi uma certa relação entre as ideologias vigentes na Era Stalin e os crimes cometidos, ou ao menos a dificuldade em chegar ao criminoso, como se houvesse uma proteção legal de silêncio obrigatório sobre os assassinatos. Ideia bastante ruim.
CRIMES OCULTOS, para mim poderia tersido um ótimo filme e não foi.

Tom Hardy (MAD MAX), Joel Kinnamann (THE KILLING), Noomi Rapace, Jason Clarke (THE PLANETS OF THE APES), Paddy Considine (CINDERELLA MAN), the ever-extraordinary Gary Oldman (BRAM STOKER DRACULA) and Vincent Cassel (THE BLACK SWAN) make up an incredible cast reunited by the director.
With all this talent at his disposal, in my opinion, the film did not reached its goals. Especially for having chosen from the outset to show who the serial killer was, removing any mystery about his identity and the motives of his crimes, the film left little suspense to the end.
I still find it more dubious was a certain relationship between the ideologies in the Stalin Era and the crimes committed, or at least the difficulty in reaching the criminal, as if there was a legal protection of mandatory silence on the murders. Pretty bad idea.
HIDDEN CRIMES, for me it could have been a great movie and it was not.
